Fabric Protection

The spill hasn’t happened yet.

That is the only time this decision is cheap. We treat upholstery, rugs and carpet with protectME™ — a non-toxic, odorless protectant that resists spills and everyday wear — while the piece is still with us, so it arrives cured and ready to use.

Why people ask for it

You already know which piece you would panic about.

It is usually the expensive one — the sectional that took eleven weeks, or the dining chairs you finally stopped second-guessing.

What we do

Treated before it arrives. Ready the day it lands.

Your furniture passes through our warehouse anyway — received, inspected, and held until your delivery date. Fabric protection is applied in that same window, with time to cure properly before it goes on the truck.

01

Treat

protectME is applied evenly across the piece, not just the surfaces that show.

02

Cure

The treatment cures for 12 hours before handling — 24 if the space is below 64°F. In our warehouse that time is already built into your delivery schedule.

03

Deliver

The piece is placed in your home protected, with no second appointment and nothing for you to air out.

Already have the furniture in place? We also treat on-site, including rugs and wall-to-wall carpet.

The product

Why we chose protectME™

A family-owned Australian protectant made from organic-based ingredients. We picked it because it performs like the traditional products without the chemistry we would rather not spray onto something your family sits on every day.

Australian made

Family-owned, produced in Melbourne, Victoria.

Safe around family

No chemical nasties, formulated to be safe for people and pets.

Eco friendly

Made as ethically and as affordably as possible.

Non-toxic formula

No forever chemicals.

protectME publishes this comparison against traditional protectants. Most, it notes, are built on PFAS — the “forever chemicals”: polyfluoroalkyl substances linked to liver, thyroid and hormonal changes, which persist in both the body and the environment. protectME contains none of them.

What to know

The questions we actually get.

How long does it last?

Two to three years, depending on traffic and use. It is not a permanent treatment — that is the trade for a formula built without the forever chemicals.

Is it safe around kids and pets?

protectME is organic-based and odorless, with no toxic fumes and nothing to air out. It is formulated to be safe around people and pets.

Do I have to wait before using the furniture?

Not when we treat it at our warehouse — the cure happens there, before your delivery date, so the piece arrives ready to sit on. If we treat on site, allow 12 hours before handling, or 24 if the room is below 64°F.

What can you treat?

Sofas and sectionals, chairs, dining chairs, headboards, outdoor furniture, area rugs and wall-to-wall carpet.

Does it make cleaning easier?

Treated fabrics clean with fewer products.

What do I do if something spills?

Blot, do not rub — the standard advice for any upholstery.
