What is included in inspection?
Items are unpacked, inspected and photographed to the receiving scope agreed for your project. Some factory-sealed, sensitive or manufacturer-restricted packaging is documented without being opened, because opening it can affect a claim or a warranty. We confirm the scope with you before freight starts arriving.
How quickly are issues reported?
Visible damage, shortages and discrepancies are documented as the shipment is processed and reported with photographs. Photographs taken at receipt are what actually carry a damage claim; written notes rarely do.
How is storage charged?
By class rather than by pallet or square foot, so an awkward shape is not penalised and an invoice is readable. Rates, minimums and when storage begins are confirmed in writing before your first shipment.
Can clients view inventory online?
Yes. The client portal shows the items we are holding for you, their current status and the photographs on file, without emailing us for a list.
Who performs the delivery?
Deliveries are completed by trained Stride crews working to the confirmed work order. Final delivery is the moment your client judges the whole project, so it is planned rather than dispatched.
What brands and materials have you handled?
Italian upholstery, lighting, rugs, casegoods and the mainstream lines alongside them — how each crates, what the hardware should look like, and which finishes need careful handling. We receive from any vendor; the difficult ones are simply familiar.
