Installation & assembly

Furniture assembly and installation

Stride assembles and installs furniture for residential, retail and design projects. Depending on the item and the project plan, assembly may be completed at our warehouse or on site.

Warehouse preparation

When appropriate and requested, eligible beds, tables and case goods can be assembled and checked before delivery. This reduces the amount of construction work performed in a finished space, and it surfaces missing hardware or visible defects earlier — while the packaging is still on hand and the manufacturer is still reachable.

On-site service

  • Review access and protect the work path as appropriate.
  • Place items according to the approved work order or drawings.
  • Complete included assembly, levelling and adjustment.
  • Remove packaging and approved debris when included.
  • Document completion with proof-of-delivery photographs when applicable.

Scope

What is included, and what needs review first.

Assembly and installation cover the work listed on the approved work order. The following are not part of a standard installation and must be reviewed and approved in advance, because they affect the crew, the time and sometimes the equipment scheduled for your job.

Wall mounting and anchoring

Available only after advance review of the wall construction and the fixing method.

Electrical and plumbing connections

Not provided. These require the appropriate licensed trade.

Millwork and modifications

Not provided. Altering a piece is a manufacturer or fabricator decision.

Hoisting and special access

Available only after advance review; evaluated and quoted before the date is confirmed.

Appliance installation

Available only after advance review of the appliance and the connection required.

Warranty repairs

Not provided. Damage and defects are documented and reported so the claim can be raised with the right party.

If something you need is not listed, ask before the delivery is scheduled rather than on the day. The crew may not have the time, tools or authorisation to complete unplanned work.
